Three days in Chengdu: pandas, tea and a choice
Build a realistic route around a panda visit, city life and an optional Leshan day.

Day one: meet the city at a gentle pace
Pair a neighbourhood walk with time in a teahouse. This works as a lighter arrival day and makes room for travel fatigue. Food can be as mild or adventurous as your group and the chosen kitchen can accommodate.
Day two: choose the panda visit carefully
Confirm the exact site, ticket arrangements and transfer plan. Animal activity varies; a visit is not a guarantee of a particular behaviour. Leave time for rest rather than automatically adding another long excursion.
Day three: Leshan or more Chengdu
Leshan can be a dedicated outing if the journey and walking suit your group. A slower alternative is a food experience, museum or another city neighbourhood. Mount Emei usually deserves its own longer chapter.
Plan around the people travelling
Young children, stairs, dietary restrictions and mountain weather can change the best route. Discuss these before accepting a proposal.
