Overview
Twenty-five days spanning China's three great capitals, the Tibetan plateau and the karst south, a journey built for travellers who want the full sweep in one continuous private tour. You begin in Beijing and Xi'an, meet the pandas of Chengdu, then fly to Lhasa to visit the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple — the itinerary builds in a rest day on arrival so you can acclimatise to the high altitude before sightseeing. After Chongqing and the peaks of Zhangjiajie, the route turns to Guilin's rice terraces and river scenery, Hangzhou's West Lake and Suzhou's gardens before Shanghai. A long, varied panorama paced with occasional free afternoons. Includes the intercity high-speed trains, flight to Lhasa and other flights, a private vehicle, and an English-speaking guide.
