Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Beijing

Private airport transfer to your hotel, followed by free time to rest after the international flight.

Day 2

Beijing · Imperial Landmarks

Photo stop at Tiananmen Square, explore the UNESCO-listed Forbidden City, climb Jingshan Park for panoramic palace views and wander Wangfujing Street.

Day 3

Beijing · Mutianyu Great Wall

Visit the scenic Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, followed by photo stops at the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube in Olympic Park.

Day 4

Beijing → Xi’an

Visit the Temple of Heaven in the morning, then take a high-speed train to Xi’an (approximately five hours) and transfer to your hotel.

Day 5

Xi’an · Terracotta Warriors

See the UNESCO Terracotta Warriors and Horses, visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and stroll through the illuminated Grand Tang Everbright City.

Day 6

Xi’an → Chengdu

Walk or optionally cycle on Xi’an Ancient City Wall, explore the Muslim Quarter, then take the afternoon high-speed train to Chengdu (approximately 3.5 hours).

Day 7

Chengdu · Pandas and Tea Culture

Visit Chengdu Panda Breeding Base, Wuhou Shrine and Kuanzhai Alley, pause at a traditional tea house and enjoy an evening Jinjiang River night tour.

Day 8

Chengdu → Chongqing

Discover the extraordinary Bronze Age collection at Sanxingdui Museum, then take the express train to Chongqing (approximately 1–1.5 hours).

Day 9

Chongqing · Mountain Metropolis

Experience Liziba Monorail, the Yangtze River Cableway, Shibati Traditional Stairs District and the riverside before seeing lantern-lit Hongyadong at night.

Day 10

Chongqing → Zhangjiajie

Take the high-speed train to Zhangjiajie (approximately four hours), meet your local guide and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 11

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Explore Yuanjiajie and its Avatar-like pillars, ride the Bailong Elevator, take the one-way cable car at Tianzi Mountain and travel through Ten-Mile Gallery by mini train.

Day 12

Baofeng Lake and Tianmen Mountain

Take a morning boat ride on Baofeng Lake, then visit Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, including the mountain cableway, glass skywalk and Tianmen Cave.

Day 13

Zhangjiajie → Shanghai

Enjoy a free morning, then take the high-speed train to Shanghai (approximately seven hours and twenty minutes) and transfer to your hotel.

Day 14

Shanghai · Old and New

Explore Yu Garden and Old Town Bazaar, wander Tianzifang’s arts district, then see the Bund and stroll along Nanjing Road.

Day 15

Shanghai Departure

Private transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
