These Terms govern your use of the BookInChina website, customer account, travel-planning tools, proposals and communications. By creating an account or using these services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Our service
BookInChina provides information about travel in China and helps customers explore tours, share travel preferences, receive tailored itineraries and proposals, and communicate with travel advisors. Website content and an initial proposal are planning materials. A booking is not confirmed merely because you create an account, view a proposal, send a message, or indicate that you accept a proposal.
Any confirmed booking, payment, cancellation, refund or supplier-specific condition will be set out separately during the booking process. If separate written booking terms conflict with these Terms for a confirmed booking, the separate booking terms control for that booking.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your login details confidential, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been used without permission. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. The account is intended for the individual who controls the verified email address and may not be sold or transferred.
3. Travel information and proposals
Prices, schedules, routes, accommodation, transport and attraction availability may change until a booking is separately confirmed. Images and descriptions are illustrative unless a confirmed booking expressly identifies them as guaranteed. We may correct obvious errors and ask you to review a revised proposal.
When you select “accept” or “request changes” in the customer portal, you communicate your decision about that proposal to BookInChina. That action does not itself charge you or create a supplier reservation unless the page expressly states otherwise and the separate booking steps are completed.
4. Your travel responsibilities
You are responsible for checking passport validity, visa and entry rules, health requirements, insurance needs, accessibility needs and official travel advice that apply to every traveller in your party. Requirements can change. Information from BookInChina is general assistance and does not replace advice from embassies, consulates, health authorities, insurers or other competent authorities.
Tell us about material dietary, mobility, medical or other requirements before booking so that we can assess whether requested services may be suitable. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information through free-text messages.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website or portal. In particular, you must not:
- access another person’s account or data without authorization;
- interfere with security, rate limits, availability or normal operation;
- upload or send unlawful, deceptive, abusive or harmful material;
- scrape, reverse engineer or automatically extract protected content except where the law expressly permits it; or
- use BookInChina content or systems to infringe another person’s rights.
6. Content and intellectual property
The website design, text, itineraries, proposal presentation, graphics and software are owned by or licensed to BookInChina and are protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use customer-facing content for evaluating and managing your own trip. You retain ownership of material you send us and authorize us to use it as reasonably necessary to respond to you and provide the requested service.
7. Third-party services
Travel services may ultimately be delivered by independent hotels, transport operators, guides, attractions or other suppliers. Their own rules may apply. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; BookInChina does not control those websites and their terms and privacy practices may differ.
8. Availability and suspension
We work to keep the service available and secure, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, suspected misuse, legal compliance or protection of customers and the service.
9. Responsibility and liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by applicable law, BookInChina is not responsible for losses caused by information you provided incorrectly, your failure to follow official travel requirements, unauthorized use you failed to report, or events outside our reasonable control. Any additional limitations for a confirmed booking must appear in the separate booking terms presented to you.

If you have a question, complaint, security concern or dispute, contact BookInChina through our Contact page. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue promptly. Mandatory rights available to you under applicable consumer law are not affected by these Terms.
11. The terms that apply
The Terms published on this page are the Terms that apply to use of the website and customer portal. If BookInChina changes these Terms, the updated text will be published at this same address. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, we will provide it.
